A Relational, Embodied Approach to Healing

Through a collaborative and explorative approach to therapy, we work together to find the aspects of your life story and experiences that continue to make you feel stuck and/or burdened. I aim to support you in navigating the concerns you bring to therapy to expand your being and liberate your full potential.

Authentic

Just as I welcome the whole of you, I bring the whole of me—heart, humour, and all. I aim to offer an  environment in which you experience feeling deeply heard, received non-judgmentally, and a sense of ease and comfort in your sessions.

Relational

The quality of the therapeutic relationship is one of the strongest factors in therapeutic progress. My approach is deeply attuned and connective to develop the necessary trust and safety so that you can experience deep healing.

Collaborative

I honour you as the expert in your world. You bring your perspectives and I will bring mine, and together we can work to co-create a supportive therapeutic journey that aligns with your goals and values.

What to Expect

01

Beginning Together

We may begin with what brings you here, what you hope might change, and what you need to feel comfortable. Goals can be identified immediately, emerge gradually, and be revisited as we learn more together.

02

Attention to the Body

Alongside conversation, we may slow down to notice thoughts, emotions, tension, or other bodily experiences. This is one way of exploring how your experiences show up in the present to support your mind-body connection.

03

Choice and Collaboration

A metaphor that I like to bring to sessions is that the client has the remote control, meaning you can pause the conversation, decline an exercise, ask why I am suggesting something, or let me know what would work better for you.

04

Room for your beliefs

You do not need to be religious or spiritual, or to adopt any particular belief, to work with me. Your belief systems and experiences are welcome in whatever form they take.

Spiritually Inclusive

As a psycho-spiritual therapist, I hold deep empathy and respect for the complexities that navigating spirituality affords—positive, negative, and everything in between. I welcome the whole of your spiritual beliefs and experiences to be recognized and worked with as, and if, wanted.

The deeper, more intuitive, and less easily explained aspects of you are welcome here.

Let's Connect

A complimentary consultation call (phone or video) offers a chance to ask questions, share what brings you here, and get a sense of how we might work together.
